Reproduction Chevrolet Chevelle, Camaro, Impala and Nova Retail Order Form

1955-72 The Retail Order Form is a document generated at the dealership when the customer wanted to order a custom chev vehicle from the factory when no suitable car was on the lot. A customer would sit down with the salesman to order his desired car. The salesman would start to fill out the retail order form with the customer's name, address, contact info, what kind of car he wanted, color, style and go through what options....ie engine transmission, rear ratio, etc were available and what options he wanted. The salesman would take a deposit, confirm if the customer would want financing, bank or gmac, negotiate any discounts and if the customer was trading in any used car. This was a binding contract to order a custom ordered vehicle from the factory.

When the order was finalized and sent into head office for processing, it would take between 4-6 weeks for the new vehicle to arrive at the dealership. These documents show up frequently being the original owner would tend to keep this document with the financing papers of the car.

Our Retail Order Form's are handwritten in blue carbon paper as originals were on the standard yellow retail order form. Document is aged.
