Reproduction Chevrolet Chevelle, Camaro, Impala, Nova Turbo hydramatic 400 Transmission Tag

 

Turbo-hydramatic  400 Transmission Identification Tag is a small aluminum plate that was riveted to the passenger side of   the main case of the transmission.

Tags were originally silk screened with certain letters and numbers. The Letters refer to the model, year, and what type of vehicle ...ie chevelle , camaro , impala.

The tag was stamped with model year , horsepower rating of engine that was originally coupled with     transmission, type of vehicle transmission was installed in  , jullian day the transmission was

originally built  at the factory, as well as the sequence number of the transmission to help

identify it for warranty purposes,  

These tags are made using the same silk screening as the originals were and come with an attaching rivet.

Available for most chev cars from 1966-1972  comes with affixing rivet.
